Our story

I am from Pittsburgh

I was born and raised in southern Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in a small town named Belle Vernon. I played soccer throughout the majority of my life and have always led an active lifestyle. I have a strong affinity for dogs and animals and have always had a dog in some aspect of my life. Upon graduating with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Misericordia University in 2019, I rescued my dog, Bubba, and jumped into travel physical therapy with him as my puppy travel companion. Together, we hiked through many beautiful places in the United States and have seen as many as 40+ states. While hiking in New Hampshire in the Fall of 2022, Bubba became very lame after one hike and developed partial to non- weight bearing in his right hind limb. I had always had an interest in becoming a Canine Rehabiliation Certified Therapist, but with Bubba’s new injury, I took the plunge with Canine Rehabiliation Institute (CRI) to learn and rehab him myself. Watching my dog improve through my newly learned exercises and treatments, I developed a strong passion for the canine rehabilitation world and hope to assist all dogs that also struggle with movement in their everyday lives. We have since moved to Colorado to settle and begin assisting as many dogs as possible in this very active and dog-friendly Denver area.
